The show features a cast full of world champion dancers and including Ciara Sexton – female lead in Lord of the Dance – plus stars of Riverdance and national Irish TV.
“As well as an all-star cast, there are a flurry of sensational costumes and the most authentic mix of Irish music, performed by an incredible live band,” says EasyTheatres managing director Michael Taylor.
The production describes its performers as the Celtic Feet Family. Here are the family members:
Mick Donegan:
The male lead has starred in Riverdance, Magic of the Dance, Dancing on Dangerous Ground and Ragus and is currently appearing on RTE Television, Ireland, and has represented Ireland in the Eurovision Song Contest.
Ciara Sexton:
A five- times and current World Champion, Ciara is the female lead in Lord of the Dance when not working with Celtic Feet.
Emma King:
A former Irish Dance World Champion and, despite several invitations from Riverdance and Lord of the Dance, has danced exclusively for this show since 2002.
Sinead Kalnins:
A star of the world of Irish dancing – Celtic Champion and British National Champion.
Marion Turley-Gibbons:
Choreographer and technical director, Marion has trained 40 world champions to date including members of the original cast of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance. She has choreographed many shows for ITV including The Magic Fiddle – a Golden Rose of Monteux winner.
Roisin Turley-Gibbons:
Five times World Irish Dance Champion, Roisin, choreographs alongside Marion. Other hit productions include Excalibur the Celtic Rock Opera which played to sell-out audiences of 10,000 per night in Germany.
Dermot Cullen:
Twice World Champion Irish Dancer, performer of leading roles with Riverdance and Music of the Dance, Dermot has been a key member of the show since 2007.
With a cast of 19 talented performers, Celtic Feet promises to kick up a storm. “Step aside Riverdance, Celtic Feet is ready to go toe-to-toe in the battle to become the UK’s number one Irish dance spectacular,” says Michael.
